Jumblies Day Nursery is situated on Jubilee Wharf in Penryn, we opened in October 2006. We provide full day care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. In our Baby and Toddler room we care for up to six children under the age of two, in our Preschool room we have got spaces for up to 26 children between the ages of two and five years.

 

We are open from 8 o’clock in the morning until 6 o’clock in the evening from Monday to Friday.

Our preschool room has spaces for up to 26 children. Up to 6 members of staff, all qualified and experienced, work in this room. Our outside area, with its beautiful views down the river is freely accessible for the children for most of the day.

We work to the statutory framework of regulations for the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE to set the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five. All our staff access a regular training. Our last Ofsted inspection took place in March 2022 and resulted in Jumblies being judged Good in all areas of our provision. Feel free to have a read here.

Twice a week the children and staff use the Zed Shed for dance, games and exercise sessions. We have trips to the park, around Jubilee Wharf along with Yoga and French sessions.
